The Blue Potato is the dream of three enthusiastic professionals – Naveen Pai, Shaun Kenworthy and Pinaki Mitra.

Restaurateur Naveen owns such successful brands as Coffee Pai café  and Melange, and also partners with Malgudi Junction and Chaat in Kolkata.

Chef Shaun is a household name for the city's discerning foodies. His four-year stint with The Park Group of Hotels - based in Kolkata - saw his involvement with the relaunch of the legendary Flury's; The Park, Chennai and openings of restaurants Fire & Agni and Mist, at The Park, New Delhi.

Joining hands with Navin and Shaun, Pinaki is an entrepreneur in the leather export industry. An IHM graduate himself, he is no novice in the food business - and with The Blue Potato he realised his dream of introducing a truely fine dining experience to Kolkata.
